Drunken idiot breaks 53 year-old father's neck (Paul Robinson) by falling into him at Yankee Stadium. Neither falling idiot, nor friends apologize for hospitalizing the vacationing father.

The cliffnotes version of this story is that a father was doing a East Coast baseball field tour with his 13 year-old son and wife, only to have some presumably drunken idiot fall down the seats in Yankee Stadium, which ended up breaking the father's neck. Instead of stopping or asking if the father was ok, this nimrod was dragged out of the stadium by his idiot friends, who didn't even appear to help the family. The family was planning on going to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Fenway Park in Boston after this trip to Yankee Stadium.

Way to ruin a vacation so that you could think you're cool with your buddies, you douche.

It looks like Robinson is going to be ok, but this is just more reason why my love for going to outdoor sporting events shrinks every single year. Many think that I should be the biggest sports fan in the world after standing on the field for over three years for USC Football games, but I just hate how people take the pre-gaming too far sometimes at the expense of others around them. There have been too many games that I've paid for where I've been stuck sitting next to some idiot who is on the verge of purging himself all over everyone around him, only to have him (generally) think that it's really funny. What frustrates me about things like this is that the section buffoon will not even remember the game, nor how he ruined a night for everyone else, and will laugh about it with his disgusting friends the next day with sobering up over a bag of Doritos.

If this guy doesn't come forward, or his friends don't pay Robinson a visit in the hospital (which I presume they won't, considering how absolutely careless and inconsiderate these jackasses appear to be), this could be one of the most disgusting displays of human idiocy that I've read about in a long time.

Ugh, this story makes me sick. Best wishes to Robinson's family and hopefully you'll be able to resume your trip soon!
