Seven months in, it's time for the monthly DaveChung.com numbers that no one cares about but me!

For some reason, it's very fun for me to look at these numbers and see how much I've been able to hit on the top stories of the day or if I happen to write about things that people are interested in reading. If you're at all interested in seeing how a small website turns into a big one, hopefully this monthly watch is remotely interesting to you too!

Let's start with page impressions!I don't completely understand this stat, but I think it's how many times I come up in search results and whatnot, not necessarily visits or page views, but they generally translate to more of both.

Visitor statistics for June 2007

• New Visitor Visits: 1690 (77.52%)
• Returning Visitors Visits: 490 (22.48%)

Random Stats That I Find Interesting For June 2007

• Returning visitors averaged nearly 3 minutes per visit (2 minutes & 47 seconds)
  
• New visitors averaged just 22 seconds per visit (clearly, not winning everyone over)
• Returning visitors averaged 2.16 pages per visit, while new visitors averaged 1.23 pages per visit
• While 77.52% of visits were by people who stopped by the website one time last month, 3.76% of visits were by people who visited 26-50 last month
• 1930 visits came from "The Americas" (North, Central, and South + Greenland)
• 162 visits came from Europe
• 64 visits came from Asia
• 12 visits came from Australia
  
• 7 visits came from Africa

• 13.44% (293) of visits come to the site directly from typing in "http://www.davechung.com" into their browsers. 46.76% of people who typed in davechung.com into their browsers were first time visitors, down from the site average of 77.52%, which means that people are coming back!
  
• 31.38% come from a Google search
• 20.18% come from doing a Google Image search
• 11.97% come from Blogger.com
• 7.52% come from Facebook.com

• The two most popular searched term that brought people to DaveChung.com were"Chris Benoit Family Pictures," which accounted for 82 visits or 11.37% of all traffic, and "Windy Hagar," which somehow accounted for 82 visits or 11.37% of all traffic too!
• The next most popular searched term was "Dave Chung," which accounted for 63 visits or 8.74% of all visitors

• People who came to my site after being referred from one of my favorite blogs, IrishTrojan.com (what up to Brendan Loy), stayed on the site for an average of 4 minutes and 11 seconds.
  

I could literally do this forever, but I'm going to get my room cleaned up and finally try and relax tonight.
