Girl's feet are severed from Superman Tower of Power ride at Six Flags

This kind of ride (the one where you go really high up, sit for a minute, then drop back down, only to do it again) used to be my favorite kind of ride until I read this story. What's weird is that no one can figure out just how this happened.
