Lukewarm reception for American Idol Season One winner Kelly Clarkson's new CD - "My December"

After feuding with Clive Davis and cancelling a summer tour (which I personally felt like was at too big of venues for her), hopefully Clarkson is ready to take control of her career at this point where she seems to be wanting more of that control.

With her previous success, anything short of a #1 album would be a disappointment when the numbers come out later this week. "Never Again" has already stalled short of becoming another #1 single, but hopefully the album has track after track of radio-friendly singles that have defined her first two albums.
